The Safe Posters Exhibition in Burdur Brought Together Art and Safety

The Safety Posters Exhibition, organized in collaboration with Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKU) Faculty of Art and Design and Burdur Police Department, brought art and safety together.
At the exhibition opened in Cumhuriyet Square, the posters prepared by the students of MAKU Faculty of Art and Design Department of Visual Communication Design were met with interest.
The exhibition was attended by the Provincial Police Chief Ümit Bitirik, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Oğuz Gürsoy, relevant academics and students. The posters in the exhibition were carefully designed by the students as part of the Provincial Police Department's information activities.
Director Bitirik and Vice Rector Gürsoy, who closely examined these studies, which are important in terms of security and information, appreciated the students' efforts. Stating that the posters are an important step in terms of the safety and awareness of the society, Bitirik and Gürsoy congratulated the students.
Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Oğuz Gürsoy stated in his statement: "In this exhibition, which presents a different example of the social contribution projects carried out by our university with the mission of spreading scientific knowledge to society, we see the poster exhibition aimed at preventing crimes prepared by our students of the Faculty of Art and Design Department of Visual Communication Design within the scope of the information activities of the Burdur Police Department. We would like to thank our students who contributed to the exhibition, where about 40 poster studies prepared in different fields are included, and the teaching staff of the course. We also thank the Burdur Police Department and the police who informed us and increased our awareness."
The exhibition will continue to welcome its visitors throughout the day.
